FAQs to learn more about this very special event.

What are we celebrating?

For over 40 years WWCA has provided a quality education to the children of Christian families, preparing them to glorify God wherever He leads. We are celebrating God’s faithfulness to the ministry of WWCA for 40 years and would love for anyone who has been part of WWCA over the past 40 years to join us onOctober 3rd!

Who is invited?
All alumni, former students, parents, grandparents, current & former teachers/staff/coaches, and friends and supporters of the ministry of WWCA over the past 40 years. All are welcome!

Why should I attend?
You have played a part in the ministry of WWCA, and this is an opportunity to celebrate what God has done through the school; additionally, it will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and reunite with friends, classmates, teachers, and coaches. It’s going to be a great event.
Who is going to be there?
We hope everyone possible, including you! As people register, you can see a real time list of attendees at wwcact.org/wwca40 by viewing the ‘attending’ link on the registration page. Please help us spread the word about this event, and register as soon as you can. Personal invitations go a long way, so please help us make this a truly awesome event by encouraging and inviting all to attend.
Can I bring my spouse?
Of course! Yes, all are welcome.
Are kids invited?
Kids are absolutely invited to the Alumni Games in the afternoon at the Sportscenter, where there will be supervised games and activities for them, in addition to the soccer, volleyball, and basketball competitions. Spectators are encouraged also. The Evening Celebration from 5-9pm at WWCA is best suited for adults only (age 14+) because you need to be able stay awake until 9pm. The Evening Celebration is a great chance for a ‘night out’ (book that babysitter!).
How much are the tickets?
There is no cost to participate in the Alumni Games, but we do ask that you register for the games so we can plan the competitions. Tickets to the Evening Celebration are $20 per person. (A discounted rate of $10 is available for current students and Young Alumni- Classes of 2010-2015.) We want all to attend!
What is happening at the Sportscenter?
From 12-2 pm we especially want all students who played on a WWCA athletic team to come out and reunite. This is a once in a generation opportunity to compete against each other and have a great time. You should start stretching now so you’re ready! Don’t forget to register online to the right and also join the Facebook event. Help us spread the word and invite others.
What kind of food will be served?
During the Alumni Games, the CT Sports Center Concessions Stand will be in operation. The Evening Celebration will have great food catered by Masella Catering & The Eatery of Wallingford. Food will be served from 5-6:30pm while you mingle with many old friends. It’s going to be great!
What should I wear?
The Evening Celebration is a “dress to impress” event. Wear something nice. You’re going to look great! If you’re also coming to the Sportcenter from 12-2pm, then, athletic apparel, of course!
What exactly is happening at the “Evening Celebration”?
Food will be served in the 5pm hour. The school will be open as you reconnect with people you haven’t seen in years. There will be displays and photos you haven’t seen in years. Maybe you want to take a picture in your old PACE desk? It’s going to be a great time. We will have a huge 40×100 tent set up at the school so we can gather for an Anniversary Program later in the evening to celebrate God’s faithfulness to the ministry of WWCA with live music, testimonies and memories of 40 years of WWCA, and much more.
What if I can’t come, but I’d like to support the event?
At the online form to the right, you will find an opportunity to support the event with a donation.
You can place an ad in the Program Book (email wwcaalumni@gmail.com for additional information).
We encourage you to submit a short written testimony of God’s faithfulness to WWCA and the impact the school had on you to wwcaalumni@gmail.com
