Elementary Grades 1-6 at WWCA are self-contained, traditional classrooms with an average teacher/student ratio of 15:1.
The learning and curriculum at each level is active, challenging, and fun. The curriculum offerings, which meet the educational objectives of the school and the requirements of the State of Connecticut include: math, social studies, science, music, art projects, physical education, with an emphasis on a strong phonetic approach to reading and language Arts.
A special distinctive of the school curriculum includes Bible devotions, Chapel, and daily class prayer. Each morning students read the scripture together and receive a challenge for the day from the Book of Proverbs.

Numerous special activities occur throughout the year to enhance learning. Parents are encouraged to become involved in Field Trips and as classroom volunteers.
